Dr. Teboul completed her medical studies at McGill University, where she was the recipient of the prestigious Morris Wilson Scholarship. She then went on to complete an ophthalmology residency at the University of Montreal. She has presented at several national scientific conferences, was first author to a number of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, and won the 1st place research prize at the University of Montreal’s Ophthalmology Research Day.

Since 1996, Dr. Teboul has an active clinical practice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal as well as at the CSSS du Suroit in Valleyfield. She performs cataract surgery at both these hospitals, as well as, more recently, at the Lachine/MUHC Hospital and the Jewish General Hospital. She is a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University and Chief of Ophthalmology at the CSSS du Suroit. She joined the Eye Health MD team in 2011.

Dr. Teboul has a particular interest in cataract surgery and performs over 1400 procedures per year, using state of the art technologies and lens implants. She plays an active role in teaching cataract surgery to ophthalmology residents and was recently awarded the Frank Bueller Award for Most Outstanding Surgical Instructor of the McGill ophthalmology residency program.
