Dr. Oliver has a specialized background in ocular inflammatory disorders and also maintains an active general ophthalmology practice.

Dr. Oliver centers her general ophthalmology practice at Eye Health MD and her uveitis practice at the MUHC’s, McGill Academic Eye Centre.

Born and raised just outside Montreal, Dr Oliver completed a Bachelor of Sciences degree with distinction from Queen’s University. Following this, she went on to attend the University of Toronto where she received her medical degree in 2004, graduating with honours.  She then returned home to Montreal where she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at McGill University. Upon graduation, Dr Oliver completed one year of fellowship training in Ocular Inflammatory Diseases and Uveitis from the University of Montreal. In 2010, she joined the team at Eye Health MD and the faculty of medicine at McGill University as a Faculty Lecturer.

At McGill University, Dr Oliver is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents and has lectured and presented research in the field of uveitis on a national and international level. She is a member of various well-known professional medical associations such as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Uveitis Society, the Collège des Médecins du Québec, the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec and the Association des ophthalmologists du Québec

While maintaining the highest level of clinical and academic competence in regard to patient care, Dr Oliver prides herself on her kind, compassionate and patient-centered approach to ophthalmology. She is known by her patients and colleagues for her warm and approachable personality. Dr Oliver exclusively dedicates her time at the McGill Academic Eye Centre to her uveitis practice, where she welcomes consults from other ophthalmologists.

Her clinical focus at Eye Health MD is general ophthalmology and she welcomes consults from optometrists and non-eye care professionals.
